Neal Morse - Glasgow
Rock’n’Roll Events in association with NMC Live presents:
The legendary voice of Spocks Beard and Transatlantic plays an up close and personal acoustic show in Glasgow!
After an incredibly successful world tour in 2017 supporting his band’s most recent epic masterpiece, “The Similitude of a Dream,” Morse is now embarking on a rare, up close and personal SOLOacoustic tour spotlighting some of the music behind his new singer-songwriter album, “Life and Times.”
This unique string of intimate performances will reveal even more about the man, his life and music. “I’ve come through a lot of difficult times and I’m in a fairly content place now,” he says. “You can feel that on some of the songs.” Much of the album was written on tour and has a reflective quality. One
special song, “He Died at Home,” was inspired by the tragic news of the death of a friend’s roommate struggling with PTSD, along with a powerful article about a young soldier named William Busbee.
Neal’s songs and stories reach well beyond the borders of a successful progressive rock career, and will give the audience a special opportunity to really get to know the personal side of an artist who has been trotting around the globe for years as a member of multiple award-winning and chart-topping
bands, including Transatlantic and Flying Colors.
Don’t miss this rare, unique opportunity to see Morse in a special, interactive setting where you’ll hear a different but equally powerful side of this artist’s musical heart.
