The Selkies are a 4 piece Rock n Roll band from Fife with age range of 16-19 consisting of Vocalist Dylan Syme, Guitarist Liam Pitcaithly, Bassist Sam Turnbull and Drummer Roan McBeath. The bands influences include Primal Scream, The Beatles and The Stone Roses.

The Selkies have been together for around 4 years and after various line up switches now have a secure band and a strong growing fan base around the fife areas. The Selkies have recorded in The Gardyne Studio in Dundee but are now planning on recorded a full length debut EP in Riverside Music Complex seen as some members are studying there. The Selkies have played many venues like Church in Dundee supporting Saint Agnes, The Green Room in Perth a few times, various headline shows at their local venue Legends Bar Anstruther and many other local venues. The Selkies also took part in the Youth Music Initiative in Dundee where they got the chance to work alongside Stevie Anderson who is now lead guitarist alongside Kyle falconer. During this experience the Selkies got to learn how to write professional standard tunes to fit in with the music scene at this time being and also got shown how to record a track and put it out on social media.

Now the The Selkies are looking to expand their fan base into the Glasgow music scene and make an impact with their melodic but massive psychedelic rock n roll style.
