With a total venue capacity of 800 (550 Main, 250 Lounge) The Classic Grand is the perfect venue for gigs, club nights, conventions, festivals, weddings, corporate events and more. Located just 2 minutes walk from Central station the location is ideal. There is also a taxi rank located at the front door.
Dressing Room Facilities
There is a purpose built dressing room with a fitted toilet and shower room, which has private access to the stage.
By additional arrangement, if required for larger events or high profile artists, the level 1 venue can be reserved for extra dressing room space – **please note this may have implications on other events etc and must be negotiated separately**. This area and the main room are also ideal for VIP and after shows. For support artists there will be an area to store guitars etc but it is at the promoter’s discretion if the dressing room areas are shared.
Nearest multi-storey car park is located on Howard Street.
There is wireless access and a phone line in the production office, which can be utilised for production staff on request.
